I saw an item on TV the other night saying 75% of British people would vote if it could be done on-line. Interesting - that would be a far better turn out than any national or local election has had in the UK in years! The government has just produced it's report on the recent electronic voting experiments during the May 2002 local elections in England, when thirty local authorities ran electoral pilot schemes. Here's the future folks!
