What's in a Strapline?
Thursday, January 31, 2002

A strapline is that clever few-word sentence attached to a company, brand or product. "Securicor cares", "Probably the best lager in the world" and so on. We had a meeting this afternoon to decide on a new one for my company. It involved a great deal of discussion and soul searching. Question is, if you don't have squillions of pounds or dollars to publicise it, does anyone really read and take note of it anyway? What did we decide on? "Successful Procurement Solutions". Not bad I suppose.
